How to Order
It is our intent to offer the broadest selection of fine Italian terracotta in America, to individuals, through designers, and via stocking distributors.

In the past we have tried to automate this website with a full Shopping Cart. In hindsight it is not the way to go for the following reasons:

1. The uniqueness and individual nature of each of our pots, and
2. The fact that we sell items weighing from one lb. or so in weight to ones weighing several hundred each, and
3. The fact that we sell to individuals, through designers, and via stocking distributors at different pricing levels.

UPS Ground
It is our policy to ship UPS Ground whenever possible. We have found that it is by far the most cost-effective way to ship smaller packages safely. Packages shipped via UPS Ground can be tracked easily via the UPS website at www.ups.com.

Common Carrier (Truck)
Many of our items are too large and/or heavy to be safely shipped via UPS Ground. These items must be shipped by common carrier (generally a 40' trailer truck), and packed onto wooden pallets and/or crated. Please note that additional crating or lift-gate truck charges may apply.

Mixed Orders
A mixed order contains both small items that can be shipped via UPS Ground, as well as larger items that must be shipped by common carrier (truck). Depending on the makeup of the specific order, we will determine the best and safest mode in which to ship the order, and whether to partially ship the smaller items via UPS Ground or to ship the entire order by truck. International Shipping
We do not ship internationally (including Canada and Mexico).

Breakage Insurance
All of our freight, aside from being expertly packed carries insurance against breakage.

FOB Point
Our freight terms are FOB (Freight on Board), St. Johnsbury, VT.

What this means is that once the freight is loaded onto a truck from our warehouse, the ownership and responsibility for any rare breakage instances becomes the customer’s responsibility. In the rare instances where breakage has occurred, we will work with our customers to process insurance claims with the carrier.

Return Policy
All sales are final. The merchandise is not returnable.

Garden Planters.com is actively seeking new wholesale accounts. First time wholesale orders will be subject to verification via the following criteria: in order to be eligible for our wholesale pricing, you must provide a valid Tax ID number and have a verifiable garden or gift related business entity in place.
